The Collected Guest Room

The guest room, in the basement was a full renovation.

We replaced the drop ceiling with a fully finished one, making an immediate impact.

The flooring was upgraded from old carpeting to new LVP with a cork bottom. We chose LVP for the basement as it is much more forgiving to moisture, and with the cork base it helps absorb sound. A custom cut rug to hug the outline of the unique angles of the room maximized on carpeting and a soft feel underfoot.

At the window, there was an extra little jut out that we were able to remove to give a flat wall, the perfect space for the swivel chair.

All new furniture including the upholstered bed, ceiling mounted bedside lighting, dresser with a marble top, the cozy swivel chair, and Frame TV made this guest room somewhere you’d be proud to invite your guests to stay.
